Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 2026
Introduction
This policy explains what b4Help collects when you visit b4help.net, request a website, or subscribe to a plan, and what we do with it. It covers this site and the subscription website service. Our consulting business at b4help.com publishes its own policy.
We handle personal information in accordance with Massachusetts law, including the data security regulations at 201 CMR 17.00.
Information We Collect
Information you give us. Our contact form asks for your name, business name, email address, phone number, current website address, the plan you are interested in, and whatever you write in the message field. Only name, business, email, and message are required.
Information collected automatically. Google Analytics records standard usage data when you browse this site: pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, referring site, device type, and browser. This runs on every page and uses cookies. We see reports about visitors as a group and do not use Analytics to identify you personally.
Information from customers. If you subscribe, we hold your billing contact details, your domain and hosting configuration, and the content you send us to publish.
We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or government identification numbers, and we ask that you never send them to us through the contact form.
How We Use Your Information
- Replying to your inquiry and building a preview website for you.
- Delivering and maintaining your website if you become a customer.
- Sending invoices and collecting subscription payments.
- Sending your monthly analytics report and occasional service notices about your site.
- Understanding which pages of this site people find useful.
We do not send marketing text messages, and we do not run automated cold-email campaigns against form submissions. When we phone you, a person is dialing.
Cookies and Analytics
This site sets cookies through Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic. It sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and it carries no advertising pixels.
You can block these through your browser settings or by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on. The site works normally with analytics cookies blocked. Most browsers also offer a Do Not Track setting, and this site does not respond to it differently, since no tracking beyond the analytics described here takes place.
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page renders.
Who We Share It With
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we need to run the business:
- DigitalOcean hosts our servers in the United States, where form submissions are stored.
- AgentMail delivers form submissions to our inbox.
- Google Analytics provides the site traffic measurement described above.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces this site uses.
- Invoice Ninja and its connected payment provider handle invoicing and subscription payments. We never see or store your full card number.
- Domain registrars receive the registrant details required to register a domain on your behalf, where applicable.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers, or public safety.
How Long We Keep It
Form submissions stay on our server so we can follow up and keep a record of what was requested. If you become a customer, we keep your account and billing records for the life of the subscription and for seven years afterward to meet tax and accounting obligations. If you never become a customer, ask us and we will delete your inquiry.
Data Security
Every page of this site is served over HTTPS with a current SSL certificate, and form submissions travel encrypted. Our servers are access-controlled, kept patched, and backed up nightly. Only the people who need your information to do the work can reach it.
No system on the internet is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the Massachusetts Attorney General as 93H requires.
Your Choices
Email us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, or delete it, subject to records we must keep for tax and legal reasons. You can unsubscribe from any non-essential email we send. Service notices about a website you are paying us to run will continue while your subscription is active.
Children
This site serves business owners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If we learn that we have, we delete it.
Changes to This Policy
When we update this policy we change the date at the top of the page. If a change materially affects how we handle information we already hold about you, we will email the address on your account.
